It also had a song, "Socks on first, shoes on second"....still can't find the CD online.Ilsahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16971708048790063372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1437124632051457169.post-76174759320012014862009-06-26T13:51:53.523-07:002009-06-26T13:51:53.523-07:00So many people, from all over the world, have look...So many people, from all over the world, have looked up this song and visited this page that it just amazes me. It's my number one search engine referral. Sometimes I sing it to myself and have considered recording a little version of it to post, but have never gotten around to it and now the sound's gone on my camera, unfortunately. Rain will do that to electronics, and sand, and repeated banging around in pockets and so on. It's too bad, too, because it took decent video (still does, but silent) and not bad sound, and then I could make mp3s from the files. In any case, if you're here for this song there are hundreds of other people all over looking for it, too. For some reason, this strikes me as both endearing and encouraging.sharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14058381468146433964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1437124632051457169.post-50427615201686772912008-05-13T15:05:00.000-07:002008-05-13T15:05:00.000-07:00Ah, and and there was me relishing the sharp scent...Ah, and and there was me relishing the sharp scent. Stiil no-one can be disappointed with a daffodil although I'm not a great fan of yellow in the garden. I like my flowers to sport tasteful shades of red, pink, blue and lavender. Yellow seems a bit too brash, in-your-face, loud. Perhaps I'm too English.Canbushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15200641842907969231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1437124632051457169.post-19173182699766019272008-05-13T14:43:00.000-07:002008-05-13T14:43:00.000-07:00daffodils bulbs! the miracle ones I threw in their...daffodils bulbs! the miracle ones I threw in their mesh bag on top of a pile of dirt last fall, some of them rotted over the winter, some got partially eaten (the mole? a squirrel?) and some set roots and grew and some of those bloomed, some were given away and planted, and some didn't even get to set roots and still bloomed, some bloomed in a bowl in the shed, all that yellow coming on short stems out of that shriveling husk of a nest of a pear-shaped bulb. and I took their pictures in every light, night and day, from the day I threw them in the dirt. and I took more pictures of them just about half an hour ago. I'm frugal in some respects, I demand a lot of worth from the things I spend money on, and the bulbs were on sale to begin with. I think only three got planted in the yard, but they'll spread eventually. I'm in no particular rush.sharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14058381468146433964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1437124632051457169.post-48474241617867095022008-05-13T13:00:00.000-07:002008-05-13T13:00:00.000-07:00Spent hyacinths?Spent hyacinths?Canbushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15200641842907969231noreply@blogger.com
